"The focus of my work has always been public art. My sculptures are monumental, abstract and made to last. I work in steel because of its' strength, permanence indestructibility. Having had a prior career as a color field painter, I recently decided to paint my sculptures in multiple colors. Color is a way for viewers to approach and understand an abstract sculpture that is not part of their experience. |
